Clubs/continuities/subscriptions
When it comes to functionality for clubs and subscriptions, flexible handling
and flow, Viskan belongs to the world elite. There are two main types
of functionality:
1. Clubs
This means that all members in a club at a certain time receive the
same, or at least similar (they may differ in size, colour, etc) articles.
The advantage with this is that the company itself decides when a
posting will be sent and what it will contain. This doesn't have to be
decided until right before the posting will be sent.
2. Subscriptions
Here it's the customer who decides what to subscribe to and with
what interval postings will be sent. The customer gets the same
article sent with an interval that can vary and the next delivery
date can be altered. Variations of this are template subscriptions
and cyclic subscriptions. These are different types of series of deliveries
which can be predefined. The difference between this and a club is that
after the start of the subscription, the customer can affect their deliveries
to a high degree.
